Good early Georgian solid mahogany bureau
Good early Georgian, Circa 1780, solid mahogany bureau. The locking fall enclosing numerous small drawers all of a good, hand-cut, dovetailed construction with oak linings and brass knobs. A locking door enclosing more drawers and a secret compartment and possible bible boxes. The base with four large, cock beaded, drawers of the same good construction with oak linings, the original brass swan neck handles and working locks. Standing on shaped bracket feet.
