Beautiful quality Georgian mahogany bureau of grand proportions. The 2 small and 3 large, cock beaded, drawers of a good hand-cut dovetailed construction with oak linings and the original brass swan-neck handles. The locking fall enclosing a very pretty fitted interior with numerous small drawers, locking door, bible boxes and various secret compartments. Standing on shaped ogee bracket feet. With lovely inlaid detail to interior and fall. In wonderful original condition.

Early Georgian, Circa 1780, inlaid mahogany corner cupboard. The bow fronted doors, with brass ‘H’ hinges enclosing small drawers in the top section and shelf in the base. With beautiful boxwood inlay throughout and a very pretty removable cornice. Unfortunately over the 250 years the doors have bowed even more so they do not lock shut. By repute originally from Loseley House in Guildford.
