Early, fine quality, Georgian, Cuban mahogany, bureau bookcase with original interior and fine features. The top section with locking glazed doors, internal pigeon holes, small drawers and adjustable shelves. The base with large drawers all of a good, hand-cut, dovetailed construction with oak linings and solid brass plate handles. The fall opening to reveal more compartments and drawers, and many secret compartments. Circa 1740. Originally with mirrored doors and the mirrors have been removed but kept safe

Black leather briefcase owned and used by Lady Diana made by Hield Brothers of London. With two separate compartments for documents, cards, pens etc. Given to Lady Diana on one of her foreign visits while accompanying Prince Charles in 1992. With further background and legally documented provenance.
