Beautiful Victorian burr walnut writing slope. With the original brass strapping and flush handles. Complete with ink wells, pen tray, stamp slope and working lock. There are 3 secret drawers but the cover is missing. With side drawer and interesting engraved plaque ‘ Present to Peter McArthur on the occasion of his leaving as Foreman in the employ Clydebridge Steel Co. by the employees in the engineering dept & friends 19th March 1892’
